Yes, you can now create accounts for Parents and have them login. This is a great tool to help keep the parents involved and up to date.
Just create a new leader account and specify them as a parent. Then you have to assign the young men to their parents and then the parents can login. You can give them read-only access or full access to edit their son’s records.
We have also added custom permissions to the site. You can setup some leaders to have read-only access if you want. You can restrict which accounts can access which modules. Later this month we will post a video tutorial which will show you how to use this new feature. Our goal is to provide video tutorials for each feature on our site. If you have recommendations on a topic for a video tutorial, please let us know.
We also updated our Activities module and our Partial Merit Badge feature. Activities are easier to record. You can now assign multiple boys to an activity at a time. This is useful when a troop of boys did a hike or service project.
